Grey Afternoon
The middle of an overcast day when the rain never stops. Outside it is bright and grey, and buildings and trees blur into soft patches. It suits daytime and bright rooms, when a dark scene feels like too much.
What makes this scene different
- The picture is much brighter than the other rain scenes and easy to see in a well-lit room.
- Instead of lights you see the vague shapes of buildings and trees, with an occasional red tail light.
- The default sound is rain with a light wind.
Ways to use it
In an office or living room. Because it is bright, it does not look out of place on a second monitor or a TV during the day.
For the feeling of a rainy day at home. Even on a clear day, half-close the curtains and it feels like a wet day off. A little stream or waves mixed in works well too.
How to use it
Press Listen to the rain to start with sound. The buttons at the bottom let you change the scene and adjust the mood presets, the sound levels, the amount of rain, the brightness and the sleep timer. Your adjustments are saved for this scene only. See the guide and the FAQ for more.
